ABOUT ΔΣΠ
Founded in 1907 at the New York University School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance by Alexander Frank Makay, Alfred Moysello and Henry Albert Tienken, and Harold Valentine Jacobs, Delta Sigma Pi is America's Foremost Business Fraternity. Currently based nationally out of Oxford, Ohio, the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi has involved over 250,000 members since inception. Today, Delta Sigma Pi has 284 established collegiate chapters, 211 active collegiate chapters, and 56 active alumni chapters spread out across the country. Our philosophy encompasses all religious and cultural affiliations, includes both men and women, and stretches from coast to coast.
As America's Foremost Business Fraternity, the purpose of our organization is to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

ABOUT BETA KAPPA
Founded in 1930, the Beta Kappa Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi at The University of Texas at Austin prides itself on attracting the best and brightest business and economics students to further not only themselves or the Fraternity alone, but also the University as a whole. As a McCombs Affiliated Student Organization, we are highly involved within the McCombs School of Business and the entire university. Many of our members hold leadership positions and are active members within numerous other organizations on campus here at the University of Texas at Austin.
Delta Sigma Pi is America's foremost business fraternity for Men and Women pursuing careers in Business, and the Beta Kappa chapter exemplifies this. We are a group of over 95 brothers all focused on bettering ourselves, our brotherhood, and our community. This means that our interests are not solely in business, but in community service, social activities, and professional development for the university as well.
The brothers of Beta Kappa are not only interested in business and economics, but also pursue multiple majors and minors in other areas such as government, computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, and many more.
